Develop the practical skills and operational knowledge required to safely and efficiently operate an articulated haul truck in civil construction, mining, quarrying, and infrastructure environments. This nationally recognised unit equips participants with the competency to load, haul, transport, and dump materials while maintaining safe work practices and achieving workplace productivity requirements.

To enrol in this course, you must meet the following requirements:
Online plus 1-day practical Face-to-face operating real articulated haul truck at our training facility in Ellenbrook.
Result is Competent (C) or Not Yet Competent (NYC). Three reassessment attempts included at no extra cost.
Throughout the course, learners will gain hands-on experience conducting pre-start inspections, operating articulated haul trucks across varying terrain and site conditions, positioning equipment for loading and dumping activities, and carrying out approved haulage operations. Training covers both front and rear dumping articulated haul trucks, with a focus on safe manoeuvring techniques, load management, equipment performance monitoring, and operating within manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures.
