Course Overview

A Verification of Competency (VOC) is an assessment process used to confirm that an individual can safely and competently operate specific plant, machinery, or equipment in accordance with current workplace, site, and legislative requirements. VOCs are commonly required by employers, principal contractors, and site operators to verify that an operator’s existing qualifications, skills, and experience remain current and suitable for the tasks they are expected to perform.

Our experienced assessors can conduct VOC assessments on a wide range of mobile plant and equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, rollers, graders, dozers, articulated and rigid haul trucks, water carts, telehandlers, forklifts, and other industry-specific machinery.

VOC assessments can be conducted at your workplace using your equipment, allowing operators to demonstrate competency in the environment where they normally work. We can also tailor assessments to meet site-specific requirements and client standards.

Whether you’re onboarding new employees, meeting contractor compliance requirements, or maintaining workforce competency, our VOC services provide an efficient and reliable solution to ensure operators have the skills and knowledge required to work safely and effectively.
