RIIMPO324F Conduct Civil Construction Grader Operations

This course has been developed for experienced operators and to be delivered in the workplace. It applies operator skills and knowledge for those working in site-based roles required to operate a grader.
Graders are used across a range of industries including civil construction and the resource sectors.
- Planning and preparing for grader operations
- Operating the grader in line with established requirements to complete work activity
- Selecting, removing, fitting and using attachments for a grader
- Preparing to relocate the grader
- Conducting housekeeping activities, including the recycling and disposing of materials.
This unit alone does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment. To perform this activity safely, personnel must either complete or be assisting someone who has completed RIIHAN308F Load and unload plant or equivalent.
There are no mandatory pre-requisites to this unit of competence, but all learners must be 18 years of age or over and had prior practical operator experience.
